The photos below were taken during remodeling. Check back often; we'll be updating this page as the project approaches completion. All remodeling will be finished by April 16, 2006 — new paint in every room, slate tile in the kitchen and all three bathrooms, new carpet in each bedroom, brand new furniture, beds, bedding, towels, and more.
The house is a simple ranch with a walk-out basement, set on a rustic quarter-acre in the hills above Horsetooth Reservoir. The walk-out opens via two sliding glass doors (one from the downstairs bedroom, one from the playroom) to a graded, fenced back yard. Enjoying the deer and other wildlife is always a wonderful way to spend time at the Rim Rock house. The back deck not only has a great view of the canyon, but it is also south facing, so you can enjoy the Colorado sun all year long. The living room is actually part of a great room. Connected to both dining room and kitchen, it's perfect for family gatherings and entertaining. Under a vaulted ceiling, light from the south-facing window fills the house with life. Beyond the armoire, a sliding glass door gives access to a raised deck, overlooking sandstone hills and Fort Collins to the east. The well-equipped kitchen and open floor plan allows our guests to enjoy family meals with all the comforts of home. Enjoy our fully stocked kitchen including all the amenities you'd expect, plus special features like a bread maker, gourmet spices, and baking items so you can whip up a batch of pancakes any time of day.
The spacious master bedroom and bath feature a large walk-in closet, a beautiful armoire, a comfortable armchair, and a lovely view of the back yard and the hills beyond.
Each guest bedroom is simply decorated. New, pillow-top, queen beds assure comfort in each of the three upstairs bedrooms. The large bedroom downstairs features a brand new, queen futon. Another futon is available in the downstairs common room.
